7:30 am - Students are dismissed to classrooms

7:35 am - Breakfast ends

7:50 am - Tardy bell rings

Pictures & Yearbooks

Individual & class pictures will be taken on Feb. 15th and 16th. Please click here for a schedule. Yearbooks are on the way! They are scheduled to arrive on April 10th. Cost is $25 per book and will be sold on a first come first serve basis. Please click here for an order form.



 

Retro Bill at SHS

Bill Russ, known as Retro Bill, will speak to families and students at Statesboro High School auditorium on Thursday, February 16th beginning at 6:00 pm. He will speak on topics such as bullying (verbal & social media), drug awareness, gang resistance and the Six Pillars of Good Character. Retro Bill is known as a powerful and effective speaker & motivator for kids and adults. He is an actor, producer, director and artist who holds several titles including: 

  • Celebrity Spokesperson for the Worldwide Kids Peace Organization
  • Celebrity Spokesperson for the Keeping Kids Safe Project
  • Certified Children's Life Improvement Coach
  • Certified  Anti-Bullying Presenter 
     

Pre-K and Kindergarten Registration

Pre-K registration dates: March 1st  through March 24th .

  • Bulloch County Schools has 12 Georgia Pre-Kindergarten sites that are housed in our nine elementary and three high schools.
  •  Our pre-k classes are for the full school day.
  • Classes follow the same 180-day Bulloch County Schools calendar as our K-12 classes.

Kindergarten registration dates: May 1st through May 5th.

  •  Parents/guardians may pick up registration packets at any elementary school during normal office hours (7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.)
  • Only a child's parent or legal guardian may register a child for school.
  • A child being enrolled in kindergarten for the 2017-2018 school year must be five (5) years old on or before September 1, 2017.

Climate Survey

All parents are encouraged to participate in the Georgia Parent Survey because the data will be used as part of the calculation of the School Climate Star Rating. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis.  Click HERE for the survey.
