It's Red Ribbon Week!

Red Ribbon Week is the nation’s oldest and largest drug prevention program, reaching millions of Americans during the last week of  October every year. Red Ribbon Week is celebrated annually October 23-31. By wearing red ribbons and participating in community anti-drug events, young people pledge to live a drug-free lifestyle and pay tribute to DEA Special Agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena.

This year's theme for Red Ribbon Week is "Your Future is Key so Stay Drug Free." NES students will celebrate Red Ribbon Week with various activities each day.

Class will also be participating in “Our School Has SWAG….Students Who Achieve Goals Drug Free!” Help support our students in reaching their goals in the STEM lab by donating items that are needed for STEM projects. The class with the most donations will earn popcorn, candy, and movie time with Mrs. Mandy.
