    NES also subscribes to TumbleBooks.  It has a huge selection of animated stories,nonfiction titles, short videos and more. Students may access this from home. Click here for the link. Use the same password/log on info that is used at school.

    Update Contact Information in Parent Portal

    Parent Portal is your one-stop-shop that gives you 24-7 access to your child's grades, attendance, and assignments.

    It's important that your primary and emergency contact information is current. 

    • Login to Parent Portal.
    • Select Online Registration on the left.
    • Select Annual Update at the top left and follow the prompts.

    Listen at Home
    Our school has Tales2Go... over 8,500 titles simultaneously streaming on every school device and at home. Visit this link to get the app and login information for home. 
    Reading books

    Book Fair

    Nevils Elementary will host a Scholastic Book Fair beginning January 28th. Students will browse the book fair for items they are interested in purchasing on January 28th -29th. Families are invited to shop with their students on January 28th from 5:00 pm until 7:00pm. Student shopping will being January 30th at 8:30am. Students will shop at a time selected by their teacher. Book fair closes at 11:00 am daily.

    Accepted forms of payment are checks made out to NES and cash. All purchases are subject to tax. 

    Shop online will begin January 23rd. All purchases will ship to NES & will be delivered to your student. Online shopping ends on February 5th. Follow this link to visit the online store. 

    STEM Night

    STEM Night will be Thursday, January 24th from 5:30 until 7:00. Come explore STEM!


    Leader in Me

    Leader in MeNevils Elementary School is a Leader in Me school. Leader in Me has been implemented effectively and successfully at schools around the world to address the social and emotional learning needs of the whole child. Through the program we teach children to identify and celebrate the leader within themselves through direct teaching, practice, and application of the seven habits. The paradigms of The Leader in Me teach students and teachers lifelong leadership skills they will carry outside the walls of the school to help ensure success in future careers and to build positive relationships with others.
