    Leader in Me

Leader in MeNevils Elementary School is a Leader in Me school. Leader in Me has been implemented effectively and successfully at schools around the world to address the social and emotional learning needs of the whole child. Through the program we teach children to identify and celebrate the leader within themselves through direct teaching, practice, and application of the seven habits. The paradigms of The Leader in Me teach students and teachers lifelong leadership skills they will carry outside the walls of the school to help ensure success in future careers and to build positive relationships with others.

    • Habit 1: Be Proactive (You’re in Charge)
    • Habit 2: Begin With the End in Mind (Have a Plan)
    • Habit 3: Put First Things First (Work First, Then Play)
    • Habit 4: Think Win-Win (Everyone Can Win)
    • Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood(Listen Before You Talk)
    • Habit 6: Synergize (Together Is Better)
    • Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw (Balance Feels Best)
